ABC’s HAPPY TOWN — the mystery show that had many making TWIN PEAKS comparisons — will wrap up online, as the final two episodes will be available for viewing on ABC.com.
The network pulled the low-rated series rather quickly after its late April debut, but it returned in June with more installments.
Fans will have to hit the internets, however, to see the last couple hours.
Executive producer Josh Appelbaum tells GIVE ME MY REMOTE that there is some good news, though: “We answer the biggest question of the series: ’Who is the Magic Man?’ That will be revealed in the final moments of the finale.”
Appelbaums says that reveal was also intended to be the show’s first season cliffhanger, had HAPPY TOWN been renewed. The revelation was meant to shake the foundation of the series. But, even though we wont be able to see the repercussions of it in a season two, Appelbaum feels people will be really satisfied with how they end the last ep. “If you’ve been playing along with the show, your mind should be blown by the final moments,” he tells us.
So, thoughts?
Will you hit ABC.com to peep HAPPY TOWN’s conclusion?
