“Ohhh yeah,” exec producer Steve Pearlman told me during my visit to the ABC series’ Vancouver set last week. “You’ll see the hybrid in Episode 1″ (premiere date TBD). As for the little one’s appearance, “It won’t necessarily look very human,” he teased.

Exec producer Matt Miller must agree. “Between our incredible stunt coordinator (Emmy nominee Dean Cho) and our producer-director Steve Boyum, who spent the majority of his career as a stunt man, we have the best stunts on television,” he boasts. And what sort of explodey goodness is on tap for Season 2, premiering this Friday at 8/7c? “For our eighth episode, our kind of ‘holiday ‘episode, we really wanted to destroy a mall,” Miller says. “We wanted a cool set piece where Chance is just wreaking havoc in a mall.” I suggested the episode title “A Very Human Target Christmas” – cross fingers!

First, let’s ask Clark himself. “I would think so,” Tom Welling told me Saturday night at the show’s 200th episode party. “I’m not sure what exactly they have in store for [the final season], but Lois is definitely a part of Clark’s future.” And now, the executive producers. “There will be epic romance, that we can say,” teases Brian Peterson. This is the week Mer tells Derek that she had a miscarriage. But also on the horizon are some powerhouse scenes on the sisterly front. As the aftermath of the shooting continues to play out and “Meredith begins mothering everybody, Lexie is like, ‘Hey, what about me? I don’t understand where you’ve been for me in this,’” Chyler Leigh previews. That leads to “several really great scenes between the two of us, where we really define what our relationship is.”

If by info you mean raves, here’s one castmate’s take on Jensen’s turn behind the camera: “The truth of the matter is he’s a natural,” Mark Sheppard (Crowley) tells Fancast. “He was extraordinarily well-prepared, and he’s very good at getting what he wants. It was fun for me and Jim [Beaver] to….” To what? Frak, Mark caught himself and stopped short of spoiling. But he did share this about the Crowley/Bobby teaser shown at Comic-Con this summer: “That is a fabulous, really fun scene – and that’s not all of the scene either. There’s a lot of stuff going on.”

You know how nothing comes between Ms. Teller-Morrow and her brood? Well, I hear that later this season, as part of a plan to find grandson Abel, Gemma’s allegiance to her family is demonstrated via a desperate act that is her most shocking exploit yet. When I asked my source if it’s the same “shocking act” that I Big Tease’d a ways back, I was laughed at and told that that act is “sooooo tame” compared to the one teased here.

It might not get downright catty, but envision more of a small kitten. As Ashley Tisdale notes, “There’s a bit of a flirtation there between Dan and Marti – you just know they have a history – so for Marti and Savannah it’s going to be up and down.” And what might said “history” entail? Question: This House fan thanks you for posting that awesome Huddy picture! This House fan is also going to be greedy and ask you what else you know about the season premiere? —Julia
Ausiello: A fellow Trojan tipped me off that Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein were on the USC campus Tuesday night shooting “some Huddy-ness.” Added the anonymous bystander: “They were kissing, hugging, and hand-holding. It was a fangirl’s dream come true. She had on the same outfit as in the beach pictures.” Speaking of those cutesy beach photos, series creator David Shore tells me that all may not be as it seems. “What the image depicts is rather different from what you’re going to experience when you watch the episode,” he reveals. “They’re [at the beach], but it’s not Beach Blanket Bingo.”
Question: I heard a rumor that David Anders will be a regular next season on The Vampire Diaries. Please tell me that it’s true! —Addison
Ausiello: I would if I could, but I can’t. But here’s something I can confirm: Anders will definitely be in the season premiere.
Question: There’s a rumor that Weeds‘ sixth season [premiering Aug. 16] could be its last. True? —Jeff
Ausiello: If it is, no one bothered to tell Mary-Louise Parker, although the actress concedes, “That’s not really up to me. That’s up to [Showtime]. I love doing the show. The only thing that’s tough for me is I live in New York and it gets harder to pick up and move when your kids get a little bit older. But I love doing the show.” In other words, she’s game for a seventh season…provided “they don’t fire me,” she says with a laugh. “You never know what’s going to happen on this show.”
Question: I may be the only person in TV land who actually watches it, but can you give me any My Boys scoop? Is it still on? Has TBS canceled it? —Kim
Ausiello: TBS has not canceled it — at least not yet. A fourth season is already in the can and set to premiere on July 25. A fifth season, meanwhile, remains a question mark. Equally uncertain: what the heck star Jordana Spiro will do if it does come back, seeing as she already hitched herself to NBC’s Love Bites. My guess? Boys will return to mediocre ratings and TBS will announce in early August that season 4 will be the show’s last. And for the record, Kim, you are not the only person in TV land who watches the show. Question: Any scoop about the fourth season of My Boys? —Kim
Ausiello: Um… On second thought, Kim, maybe you are the only person in TV land who watches the show. (Anyone else besides Kim watch My Boys? Shoot me an e-mail at ausielloscoop@ew.com.) On the scoop front, Jim Gaffigan’s departure will be addressed within the first few minutes of the season 4 opener. Of course, the big question is who will fill in for Andy at the poker table. Ausiello: The second most important rule of Ask Ausiello: When showering me with compliments, don’t end with an etcetera. It’s critical that you list each and every reason you worship me. The more specific you are the better. Capisce? Now here’s your scoop: A resignation will rock the department at the end of the season 6 premiere on July 12.
Question: Anything on the new season of Hung? —Lauren
Ausiello: Feeling insecure about her role in their “operation,” Tanya seeks out help from a higher power: a more experienced pimp, played by Jericho alum Lennie James. Bonus scoop: Crossing Jordan‘s Kathryn Hahn will also appear in the first few episodes as a (very pregnant!) client of Ray’s.
Question: Any scoop on Make It or Break It? —Susan
Ausiello: Lauren’s long-lost mother is about to be found. The show is searching for an actress in her 40s to play Lauren’s recovering-drug-addict mom, who shows up hoping to rebuild a relationship with her daughter.
Question: Throw your international readers a bone and tell us what the big Friday Night Lights spoiler was in last week’s Entertainment Weekly. Not everyone can go out and buy the issue on the newsstand. —Matt
Ausiello: Fair enough, Matt. The spoiler concerned the final episodes of season 5 and a possible reunion between (wait for it) Riggins and Tyra! “Riggins is getting out of prison and Tyra is on break from school,” explains exec producer Jason Katims. “We’re looking at [them] reconnecting.”
Question: I’m desperate for some scoop regarding the new seasons of Friday Night Lights and Dexter. —Sean
Ausiello: Coincidentally, I’m desperate to unload some scoop on both those shows. FNL is casting the role of a “winning and charismatic” president of a non-Texas college (to meet with Riggins, perhaps?), while Dexter is looking for an actor in his late 40s to play an internal affairs agent at Miami Metro (to investigate Dex, perhaps?). Oh, here’s another FNL scoop-bit: Kyle Chandler will be playing coach on screen and off. Sources confirm that Chandler will direct his first FNL episode next season.
Question: Is there anything that you can tell us about my new favorite show Community? — Seth
Ausiello: Only that I think it’s NBC’s new favorite show, too. How else to explain the network’s decision to devote an entire night of programming to Joel McHale’s super-silly comedy? On Thursday, July 8, the Peacock will air a six-episode Community marathon from 8 to 11 p.m. And we’re not talking about just any six episodes. We’re talking about the best six episodes of the show to date: “Intro to Statistics,” “Romantic Expressionism,” “Modern Warfare,” “Physical Education,” “Contemporary American Poultry,” and “Debate.”
Question: Some friends and I are making an impromptu road trip to New York City this weekend. I realize you are probably too busy to meet with some lowly fans, so can I at least get some 30 Rock season 5 details? —Collin
Ausiello: Yeah, um, sorry, I’m actually even too busy to get together with uppity fans, never mind the lowly ones. But here’s your 30 Rock scoop: We’ve probably seen the last of Julianne Moore — and heard the last of her Boston accent. “It seems like she has bowed out of the Jack race because of [Avery's] pregnancy,” she notes with a sigh. “But I hope in some way she gets to come back. If they asked me, I’d be there in a second” — Beantown patois and all. “I went to school in Boston and worked with a lot of guys from Dorchester, so that’s where [the accent] came from,” she explains. “We made it thick…for humor’s sake, but then again, not really. There are folks with seriously heavy accents there, and they are proud of it.” And if you didn’t like it, Collin? “That’s what TiVo is for,” she laughs. “You can just rewind if you miss something!”
Question: Any spoilers on season 6 of Supernatural? —Shira
Ausiello: I hear the show’s fourth episode back — the one directed by Jensen Ackles — will be Bobby-centric and feature a character named Marcy Ward. Described as attractive in a down-to-earth/woman-next-door way, Marcy is a capable homemaker with a crush on her neighbor.
Question: I know you’re a huge fan of Parenthood. Care to share some scoop on it? —Callie
Ausiello: We’ll meet Adam’s boss in season 2. The recurring role is being cast as we speak.
Question: Season 3 has barely started, but I am dying for some True Blood news. Got any to share? —Kelly
Ausiello: Exec producer Alan Ball teases that a big secret Bill’s “been carrying with him gets revealed at the end of the season.” That noise you hear is the sound of me dipping into the Ausiello Files archives and going Hmm…
Question: Have you received confirmation from Alan Ball that Talbot and Eric will get, ahem, down to business on True Blood this season? —Rob
Ausiello: No, but I haven’t received a denial from him, either. “I think one of the things about being a vampire and living for 100 years is you pretty much try everything,” Ball says. “Whether or not [Talbot and Eric] end up getting together I can’t reveal. I’ll definitely tell you that this season is pretty pansexual.” Yeah, got that bit from the first two episodes.
Question: Do you have something on Bones? I don’t care what, just something? —Margo
Ausiello: Series creator Hart Hanson announced yesterday via Twitter that the “tentative, penciled-in, maybe, unlocked title for [episode] 1, season 6, is ‘The Gorilla in the Room.’” But that’s not the big news. This is the big news: Sources confirm to me exclusively that the title of episode 2 is “Their Arms Around Each Other.” What does it all mean?! Hit the comments with your theories!

How about some Kristin Chenoweth news that'll make your heart sing?! Our favorite guest star tells us she's setting her sights on Glee's second season, and she's in talks to have her own show. (Anybody remember Kristin? Yeah, it's not that.) "I'm working on my album with Sony," the O.G. Snookie (Olive Snook, bitches, yo yo!) tells us. "So I'll be doing a tour and going back to Glee a little bit and also doing my own TV show." According to a source close to K.Chen, it's way too early to divulge any other details, but still, feel free to hug me and give me chocolates for sharing this happy news. No really, I don't mind.
Maggie in Barcelona: Is that Britney Spears' themed episode of Glee really going to happen?
As of now everything is still in talks, but I wouldn't be surprised if Glee pulled off a Britster episode in season two. We know one Gleek (and fellow "Brit") who'd love it, too. Heather Morris (Brittany) tells me: "I heard there's a Britney Spears episode coming up and fingers crossed that I get to sing, because I play Brittany and I'm like, 'Oh my god, it's insane.'" That could potentially be Heather's first solo...how fitting is that?!
Thom in Louisville, Ky.: What a great finale 30 Rock delivered. Where are things picking up when it comes back?
Things are picking up with a big ol' shman! OK, not right away, but according to the lovely Jane Krakowski, "Will Forte will be coming back as Jenna's shman." Liz Lemon is getting lucky in love, too! "I do believe Matt Damon is going to come back," Jane tells us. "He is scheduled to make some return appearances if we can work them around his schedule and availability." Woo to the hoo! More drama, of course. Anniversary drama, ex-hookup drama and fashion week drama. Mikey gets let down twice over, from her search for a venue for L.A. Fashion Week and from her girlfriend, Raquel. But the most shocking storyline is when Nikki finds herself jealous of someone else in Jill's life…a dude! What will the PTC say? Is America ready for opposite-sex flirtation on television? For the record, I'm sickened.
Joey in Fontana, Calif.: Is there an end date set for Entourage?
We just asked show runner Doug Ellin the same thing, and here's what we learned: "Next year's the plan to end it," he said. But: "Hopefully we're going to do a movie, so we'll see." Booyah! How fab is that?! So how would it all end? "Honestly, I make it up as I go, so I have no idea," Ellin admitted with a laugh. "I would love to tell you I'm like Damon Lindelof on Lost like, 'I've got the whole plan.' I've got no plan. I don't even know how I'm ending this season right now. And we're shooting the end in about 10 days." The new season starts this Sunday on HBO.
Candice in Butte Falls, Ore.: Did you really like the Hawaii Five-0 pilot, or are you just saying that because you love Daniel Dae Kim?
Can't I just say both, and move on? Fine, yes, even if DDK weren't on this show, I can tell you that I loved the debut episode (along with everyone else here at E! who's seen it) but if you don't believe me, we've asked Scott Caan, aka Danno, to describe the series in three words that will really sell it. Ready? Go! "Hawaii. Five. O. No. Action. Comedy. And hair." See? There you have it. If you're not sold now, well...OK fine, we forgive you. But you will be when you see it.
Jamie in Little Rock, Ark.: I'm really excited about Rookie Blue. Have you seen it yet, and do you love it?
Ephram Brown is back in the hiz-ouse! We love us some Gregory Smith. That said, Rookie Blue is a little rough around the edges, with far too pretty police officers, but it's definitely not terrible and worth a glance. If you're a lover of all things procedural, this is right up your alley. Don't miss the premiere this Thursday, June 24 on ABC.

We here on Team WWK try our darnedest not to judge shows too quickly (we are classically trained television journalists, after all), but after checking out the pilot episode of Real Housewives of Washington D.C., a franchise we are shamelessly obsessed with, we're not sold. At all. Unfortunately, we might be more into the new city of wacky women if the Michaele and Tareq Salahi, aka the White House Party Crashers, weren't a part of it. They give off a pretty icktastic vibe through most of the episode. We'll have more commentary on the latest ladies when the August premiere date gets closer.
Leona from Springfield, Ill.: It'll be hard for me to watch Gossip Girl without Chuck and Blair goodness. Got any scoop on my favorite TV couple?
Sorry, "Chair" lovers. Sources just confirmed to us the news that the Gossip Girl powers that be have cast the role of Eva, Chuck's new lady. Clémence Poésy, a French actress best known for her role as Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter movies, is signed on for multiple episodes. We're told she will just be a recurring character and not a series regular. So, don't set fire to your "Chuck + Blair = Love" signs just yet.
Megan in Wrightwood, Calif.: Is Georgina really, truly pregnant on Gossip Girl or is she faking it?
Yessirree. Michelle Trachtenberg told us this when asked that very Q: "Yes, and I'm trying to spread the rumor that I actually was pregnant so that everybody could start talking about how great I look after the baby. I really shed the weight." Damn. Wish I'd gotten the memo that make-believe TV pregnancies were less fattening!
Landon in Atlanta, Ga.: I'm loving Lie to Me. What's coming up?
A Grey's Anatomy guest star, that's what! Melissa George (Alias and In Treatment, too) will make an appearance in an upcoming episode where the Lightman Group takes on a case from the D.C. police. A case that involves a paralyzed man. Read: Dr. Lightman can only read his eye movements. Trippy, right?
Johnny in San Francisco: Friday Night Lights, please!
For an episode called "Toilet Bowl," you'd think this week's FNL would, well, stink. But like every other episode this season, it's just awesome wrapped in gloriousness and sprinkled with more awesome. The Lions face a terrible team in a game aptly titled the Toilet Bowl, but don't expect a blowout exactly. And Landry has a big moment in the game, so get excited for that. Get excited, I say!
Sherrie in Ramona, Calif.: I loved The Gates. What's ahead?
Poor Claire (Rhona Mitra, who is just fantastic, no?) is going to struggle to put her, um, slip up with the new neighbor behind her. She's means well, really. And Nick (Frank Grillo) is getting close to uncovering the secret life of the Gates' residents, much to his dismay.

We can't specify that this is in any way, shape or form in reference to Damon and Elena, but show runner extraordinaire Julie Plec tweeted this little gem late last night: "TVD. This is the season of soul mates. What's yours?" OMG. Stay tuned as we continue to try and uncover exactly what Julie's talking about.
Jesse in Rhode Island: True Blood! True Blood! True Blood!
We all know Layfette is thisclose to hooking up with True Blood newbie Kevin Alejandro (Jesus), but did you know that it's like real love and stuff? "Lafayette don't spend time on flings," Nelsan Ellis tells us. "They come and then they go, but this character, Jesus, he's been with for about two weeks. That's a lifetime for Lafayette, and he has deep, deep feelings for Jesus." Adds Kevin: "You'll see me throughout the season all the way 'til the end so whatever happens after that, we'll see." And a big prize pony to anyone who guessed that we'd be seeing some steamy scenes between these two. When asked if he'll be getting nude this season, Kevin tells me: "Yeah, there's been enough. Not to the extreme, but there's been enough. You'll see it happen."

As a matter of fact, Kristin Bauer (Pam) says there are big things ahead for the scene stealer. "We get more sides of Pam," she promises. "Her relationship with Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) is really explored, which is incredibly fun because it's a father-daughter relationship." Really? Did anyone else catch that vibe? Hmmm! Pam's also "very involved in the politics of the vampire world this year, and that's another fun thing because we see her at the hierarchy of these different vampires." Still, Alexander Skarsgård reminds us: "Eric is still at the top when it comes to Bon Temps--or at least he thinks he is."
