Ben Silverman is returning to NBC.
The producer and former NBC co-chair has sold a comedy pitch to his former network.
The network has picked up "Party People," a project about a group of people who work at kids parties. The project has been described as a modern-day "Taxi" only set in the world of kids' party entertainers.
Silverman is producing through his IAC-backed company Electus. David Bickel ("King of Queens") will write and executive produce.
Silverman has been getting back in the producing game lately, having recently sold a project to to ABC based on the Spanish-language series "Aqui No Hay Quien Viva," ("I Hate This Place").
He also carries an executive producer credit on NBC's top-rated comedy, "The Office."
