Buoyed by the series finale of "Lost" and the "Dancing with the Stars" season finale, ABC.com had the largest number of unique viewers during May, up 17 percent over April, according to Nielsen VideoCensus data.
That made it the fifth month in a row the site captured the top spot among broadcast network online sites.
ABC.com averaged 6.3 million unique viewers during the month, ahead of CBS.com, which averaged 4.3 million; Fox.com, which averaged 4 million; NBC.com, which averaged 3.4 million; and CWtv,com, which averaged 1.1 million.
On the day following the "Lost" series finale, May 24, ABC.com had its largest traffic day ever, with 15.6 million page views and 2.2 million unique viewers.
That was also the same day of its "DWTS" season finale.
"Lost" averaged the most unique viewers for the month, 2.1 million, with Fox's "American Idol" next with 1.8 million. "DWTS" averaged 1.4 milllion, while NBC's "Saturday Night Live" averaged 1 million unique viewers.
Rounding out the Top 10 were ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" (861,000 unique viewers), ABC's "Desperate Housewives" (772,000), Fox's "Glee" (711,000), ABC's "V" (671,000). ABC's "General Hospital" (619,000) and Fox's "24" (596,000).
"American Idol" had most total video streams with 20.4 million for the month, followed by "Lost" with 18.6 million video streams, and "Glee" with 13.6 million. Next in order were "SNL" (8.1 million), "24" (7.8 million, CW's "Vampire Diaries" (7.2 million), "Grey's Anatomy" (6.7 million), "DWTS" (6.54 million), CW's "Gossip Girl" (6.51 million), and Fox's "House" (4.6 million).
