The Big 4 broadcast networks will be tweaking tonight’s primetime lineups to accommodate President Barack Obama’s address on the oil spill at 8PM tonight, so program your DVRs accordingly.
The main attraction of the night, ABC’s coverage of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, won’t be affected. It will still start at 9PM. The Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night special will follow Obama’s address at 8:16PM for a shortened, 18-minute run, followed by a slightly abbreviated NBA Countdown at 8:34PM leading to the game.
NBC will segue from the President's speech to Losing It With Jillian, which will be joined in progress with a brief recap. The night's tentpole, America’s Got Talent, will be staying put at 9PM. Fox and CBS will run their scheduled lineups in their entirity on a delayed basis after the address. Fox will air an original two-hour Hell's Kitchen, while CBS will carry its regular Tuesday dramas in reruns.
