Paula Patton’s recurring gig as Law & Order: SVU‘s new assistant district attorney has turned into a mission: impossible.
The Precious costar—who was tapped to play “charming and savvy” ADA Mikka Von—recently landed the female lead in M:I–4. As a result, her SVU stint has been cut down to just one episode.
That’s good news for Melissa Sagemiller. The actress —who cut her teeth in the legal profession on TNT’s short-lived drama Raising the Bar—has been brought in to fill the ADA void.
Specifics on her character have not been made available, but she’s slated to first appear in November.
