Its ratings may have fallen in the U.S. over the past year, but CBS' veteran CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is back on top as the world's most watched drama series. The show just received the International TV Audience Award at the 50th Monte Carlo TV Festival, which acknowledges programs that delivered the highest ratings worldwide in 2009 in several categories. CSI drew more than 73.8 million viewers, beating out last year’s winner House. The CSI franchise has held the title of the most-watched drama in the world for most of the award's five-year history. The flagship series previously won in 2007 and 2008, and its spinoff CSI: Miami in 2006
