The Sept. 22 season premiere of The Middle just might make you feel like you’re in the middle of a time warp: Patricia Heaton is going to be going at it again with her former Everybody Loves Raymond foil, Doris Roberts, sources confirm to me exclusively exclusively.
In the episode, we’ll meet Brick’s new teacher, an intimidating force to be reckoned with, played by the 79-year-old Emmy winner. Not only that, but the character will have some, shall we say—stop me if this sounds familiar—”strong” opinions about Frankie’s (Heaton) parenting methods.
