In what would be her first major TV gig, Andie MacDowell is thisclose to joining the cast of Fox’s best new fall series, Lone Star. Additionally, Rosa Blasi—of Make It or Break It and Strong Medicine fame—has signed on to recur on the Texas-set drama.
MacDowell, whose deal I’m told is 98 percent done, would play the love interest of Jon Voigt’s oil tycoon. Blasi, meanwhile, is set for the role of Blake, the Lady Macbeth-esque trophy wife of Mark Deklin’s character, Trammell.
Lone Star revolves around a con man (played by rising star James Wolk) who’s leading a double life. Friday Night Lights‘ Adrianne Palicki plays one of his two wives.
