David E. Kelley is giving Nate Corddry a sparring partner on his new NBC legal drama Harry’s Law.
Christopher McDonald (Family Law, Happy Gilmore) has landed the recurring role of Thomas “Tommy” Jefferson, a fast-talking, attention-seeking lawyer whose office is perma-lit for press conferences.
Debuting in the show’s second episode, Tommy goes head-to-head with Corddry’s Adam in an unlikely case about the legality of China’s one child only policy. And just like that, a rivalry is born.
Law, which is slated to premiere at midseason, stars Oscar winner Kathy Bates as Harriet Korn, a former patent lawyer who forms an unconventional law firm in a rundown show store. The cast also boasts American Dreams‘ Brittany Snow.
